BOAL GROUP FLEXIBELL EXPANDS PRESENCE IN CHINA WITH THE INAUGURATION OF A NEW LOCATION

Nov 14th 2023 — BOAL Group Flexibell (BGF) China proudly announces the grand opening of its third business location in Wu Qing, China, solidifying its commitment to providing top-quality Dutch greenhouse systems and supplies to the Chinese market. The new production and warehouse facility will complement existing facilities in Shanghai and Beijing.

As a key player in supplying greenhouse builders with cutting-edge solutions, BGF enhances its position in the Chinese market through this expansion. The official inauguration of the new location was marked by a festive ceremony headed by Jiayan Cai, CEO of BGF, and Robert-Jan de Goeij, Managing Director Horticulture at BOAL Group.

Serving partners more efficiently

The newly established offices and warehouse will serve as the central hub for supplying a diverse range of greenhouse products, including greenhouse roofdeck and sidewall systems, insect netting and screen systems, insulation panels, ventilation systems and spare parts. Jiayan Cai, leading this Chinese joint venture, emphasizes the significance of the new facility, stating, "With this new warehouse, we are able to serve our clients more efficiently. We observe a growing demand from our partners for our A-grade products in China. The local availability of Dutch quality supplies enhances our flexibility in an increasingly demanding market."

Growing healthy food sustainably

Opening speeches were held by Jiayan Cai, Robert-Jan de Goeij and leaders from the Wu Qing local government who were specially invited. Robert-Jan de Goeij expresses his satisfaction with the expansion of activities in China. "Commencing our local operations in China last year has proven to be the right move. In a market that favours local production, our presence here is a logical step. I am confident that our local presence will empower greenhouse builders to facilitate high-tech horticulture for the Chinese population, enabling China to cultivate healthier food in an efficient and sustainable manner."

Since its launch at the end of 2022, BGF has formed successful partnerships with several greenhouse builders. Together, they aim to provide Chinese customers with high-quality products, designed in the Netherlands and locally manufactured in China.
