Maasdijk, The Netherlands, January 31st 2023. BOAL Group, a leading Dutch company active in the horticulture industry, is proud to announce that it has earned a Top 50 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) rating among all companies worldwide. This achievement is a testament to BOAL Group's commitment to sustainability and responsible corporate practices.
The ESG rating is determined by an independent third-party organization Sustainalytics (a Morningstar company). It evaluates companies based on their performance in the three key areas of environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. BOAL Group's high ranking is a reflection of the company's efforts to minimize its environmental footprint, promote ethical business practices, and support the well-being of its employees, customers, and communities.
Only two Dutch companies in the Global Top 50
The Netherlands is known for its strong corporate governance and sustainable business practices, however only two Dutch companies have been awarded a Global Top 50 badge in ESG performance.
